A self-funded excursion by bus will be organised for conference participants and accompanying persons on Tuesday, 13 October 2026 starting from Pile gate at 14:30.
First we’ll visit the Arboretum Trsteno, established in 15 century, which is today under auspices of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
Our next stop is the famous Ston Saltworks, established in 13 century, with ca 45 min of free time in the town of Ston (https://www.ston.hr/?l=en).
The dinner will be served in the restaurant Villa Koruna in Mali Ston, the most famous shellfish breeding area in the Adriatic.
Return to Dubrovnik is planned around 22:00.
The fee will be €75, payable on site.
